Happy First Easter, Dylan!

My first attempt at an art project with Dylan! You have to use your imagination a little bit, and you can see that those are her hand prints. She thought it was fun to stick her hands in the paint, but not so much fun to have to open her hands up and press them on the bunny. Still - I'm happy with how it turned out!

Dyl's first Easter basket - 2 books, a Honey Bunny, and some homemade chocolate bunnies.

Our Easter table - before everyone arrived and the food extravaganza began!

Our pretty Dyl-frill in her Easter dress. (This is the dress that Aunt Kelly bought for Haley for her first Easter, though she never got a chance to wear it. It was wonderful to have Dylan wear it today, and get to think of both of my girls.)

Dylan and Grandma! I love the way Grandma is looking at Dylan out of the corner of her eyes, and the way Dylan has her hand on Grandma's cheek. So sweet.

Mimi holding Dylan while she modeled her new Easter shoes from Grandma & Grandpa! Aren't they cute together?? We don't want Mimi to head back to Wooster - she needs to stay in Logan!

I think this is my favorite family photo of the day. Dylan absolutely loves her puppies. I know she looks a little hesitant in this picture, but I promise you she LOVES to have Ruby paying attention to her! (Sorry - no idea why this is underlined, or blue!)

Love the way Dyl looks to be bossing the puppies about in this picture! I'm sure she's saying "You come here and let me pull your oh-so-fabulous fur!" (Please excuse the ridiculous expression on my face.)

Pretty sure Mimi was making one of her awesome funny noises to make us all laugh in this picture. It did the trick, but Dyl couldn't take her eyes off Mimi and look at the camera. Oh well, we'll take it! :)

Sitting up in the flower bed like a big girl - I'm afraid a few tulips lost their life for this photo shoot - Dyl thought it was great fun!

Miss Dylan - sitting up all on her own like a big girl! She would not have been able to do this last Sunday, it's incredible how quickly they grow and change...

Dylan had a tasty Easter treat tonight - she had strawberries for the first time! They seemed to be quite the success, she ate an entire large strawberry and half a banana for dinner. We also tried banana flavored puffs for the first time today, but she wasn't so sure about those.

Grandma, Grandpa, Mimi, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Jesse, and Second Uncle Chris all came to Easter dinner. Grandma brought the scalloped potatoes, Mimi brought the mandarin orange salad and the angel food cake, and we made the ham, corn, green beans, and rolls. Everything was delicious, if I do say so myself, and the company was fabulous! I LOVE the holidays. We hope you all had a very happy Easter 2012 too, and many more to come!
