Nelsonville Pool

We had a super fun evening at the Nelsonville Pool tonight! (Blake and I were in Columbus yesterday, that just didn't post till today for some reason.) Chadmo brought Chipotle from Athens, and we had dinner pool side. Dyl & I went down the big slide at least 10 times, and it was so adorable to hear her say "Wheeeeee!" Afterward we played on the playground next door. It was pretty much Dyl's perfect evening, if only there had been ice cream. ;)

Our little mermaid!

Stomping on the fountain. You can see the fun slide in the background!

Daddy/Sea Monster & Blake/Clover :)

Happy boy! Tummy time can be pretty fun!

LOL!

A day trip to Columbus

Happy boy waiting at the doctor's office with Momma today! (Just an annual check up for me.)

His favorite rattle - trying to figure out how he needs to turn it to make it fit in his mouth. ;)

Play date with Arthur at Katy & Greg's house after my appointment, lunch at Northstar with Katy, going to the tailor's, and the library! Blake thought Arthur was so cool!

Arthur thinks piggy snortle noises are hilarious!

Blake thinks it's funny when you say "piggy piggy piggy!" to him - pigs must just be funny all around.

Playing together? Or fighting over a toy? We'll go with playing. ;)

My lovely snuggly lump. <3

Wearing some Arthur hand me downs to bed tonight - thank you Arthur!

Dylly played with Grandma and Papa all day today while we were in Columbus. She had tons of fun and was full of stories when I got home. Thank you so much for watching her, Mom & Poppy!

Dylan's 1st trip to the dentist!

All dressed up for her first trip to the dentist! (We'll take any excuse to dress up!)

Because of course you need a pedicure before you get your teeth cleaned! ;)

Dylan did an amazing job - thanks to Chelsey! Chelsey was so great with her, and Dylan particularly loved having water squirted in her mouth and suctioned out. :)

After lunch, practicing her mechanic skills.

Blake loves facing out in the Bjorn!

Happy World Breast Feeding Month!!

Today I donated 202 ounces of frozen breast milk to a 7 month old baby boy in Pomeroy, OH! His Mama couldn't breastfeed, and the only formula he can drink is Aleumentum (sp?) - so they have been doing donor milk and are trying to make it to 1 year! His name is Kade and I feel great helping to feed his cute face!

Tonight at the playground - Blake LOVES to watch Dylan do pretty much anything! He was laughing SO much watching her hop down these steps!! <3 She loves him too!

Dyl invariably makes friends wherever she goes. This is Brody & his puppy Minnie - they were having a great time together! Dyl would shout "Come on Minnie!" and they would chase after her! ;)

Story time

What a good big sister! Dyl loves to read to Blake - here she's reading him a story in his crib before bed. :) (And they're holding hands!)

Blake says "This is FUN, Momma! I love Dylly!"

The beautiful quilt that hangs above Blake's bed! A gift to Blake from my Grandma (Mimi), and made by Blake's Great Great Aunt Jean!

One sad update: Fishy Fishy died on Friday. He started acting pretty strange on Thursday, and by Friday evening he was toast. :( It took Dyl until today to notice, but she took it pretty well. She was mostly fascinated by the fact that we said when he died, we flushed him down the toilet. She likes to talk about that a lot, and then she says "I still have Sock Hop." So good for her for being a glass half full kind of girl! We'll give Sock Hop a couple of weeks to make sure he doesn't perish of whatever Fishy Fishy had, and then we'll get him a new friend.

Our Big Roller!

We've got a roller on our hands! Blake rolled over today (front to back) for the first time, today around 5:45 pm! What a big boy!!

"Huh. That's a neat trick!"

9 month clothes?!?

"Can you believe this is a 9 month outfit I'm wearing, Mama?!?"

Blake's been loving his exersaucer lately - he's so cute in there! I just cannot believe how BIG he's getting, and SO fast. I love my squishy baby boy!
