We made it!

This morning at the hotel: "What do you mean we have to get in the car for 5 hours again?!?' 

On the road again...

We love our beach house, and we love being here with the Klingelhafer clan! We just wish the Stevelt clan was here too! 

And we're off!

Our first big trip as a family of 4! We drove ~6 hours today, from Logan to Greensboro, NC. The kids did amazingly well, I'm so impressed by them! Tomorrow we'll drive ~5 more hours to Avon, NC in the Outer Banks. Here's hoping driving day 2 goes as well as driving day 1. Also, tonight will be our first night ever sleeping in one room all together! Wish us luck!

Blake was a real trooper today! Still smiley after 5+ hours in the car.

We went to a tasty restaurant, Fatz Grill, half a mile from our hotel. Everyone was glad to be out of the car!

This isn't a great picture, but it very accurately portrays our life these days: Dyl in perpetual motion and hard to get a non-blurry picture of, and Brother trying to keep an eye on his big sister, whom he adores!

So glad Dyl's new swimsuit showed up on time to go to the beach with us! I'm officially a fan of RuffleButts!

Blake felt like chatting with me & wishing me a happy Mother's Day one more time before going to bed tonight! It was such a great day, spent with my two wonderful kiddos, husband, poppy, and of course - my mom! We love you so much, Mom! Thank you for all that you do for us and for always being there!
